Guía de Salud Masculina
The dose of tadalafil varies depending on the purpose of use:
1. For erectile dysfunction (ED)
1、conventional dose
- The recommended starting dose is 10mg, which is taken before sexual activity. Depending on the individual's efficacy and tolerability, the dose can be increased to 20mg or reduced to 5mg, and the maximum frequency of medication is once a day.
2、Dose adjustments for special populations
Elderly patients (65 years old and above): There is no need to adjust the dose, but the elderly are more prone to adverse reactions, so use with caution and close observation should be made.
patients with renal insufficiency
- No dose adjustment is required in patients with mild (creatinine clearance 51 - 80ml/min) or moderate (creatinine clearance 31 - 50ml/min) renal dysfunction.
- In patients with severe (creatinine clearance 30ml/min) renal dysfunction, the maximum recommended dose is 10mg.
patients with hepatic insufficiency

- In patients with severe renal dysfunction, the starting dose should be 20mg once daily.
patients with hepatic insufficiency
