Generic Tadalafil: all you need to know

Generic Tadalafil is the generic version of the drug tadalafil.

1. Operation

-Tadalafil is a selective phosphodiesterase inhibitor-5 (PDE-5). This enzyme is responsible for degrading nitrogen monoxide (no)-dependent on cyclic monophosphate guanosin (cGMP) in the smooth vascular muscle of the penis. By inhibiting PDE-5, tadalafil increases cGMP concentration, resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis, facilitating erection.

2. Indications

-it is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It has also been studied and may be used in some cases of pulmonary arterial hypertension.

3. Dose and administration

-the usual dose for ED treatment is 10 mg taken approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity. However, the dose may be adjusted between 5 mg and 20 mg according to individual response and patient tolerance.
